Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jock Sleed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tykwon Dont (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jock Sleed!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tykwon Dont!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Hugh Johnson and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sleed throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
We've been hearing reports that Sleed has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Sleed shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Dont is trying to control but can't.
Dont wants to get back to his feet.
Dont really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sleed. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Sleed not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Sleed throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Sleed landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Sleed is looking to take a break and control but Dont is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sleed passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Dont!
Dont wants to hold on but Sleed pushes him away.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sleed breaks from Dont's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Sleed postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Dont looks a forlorn figure.
The referee warns Dont that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Dont is rocked!
Sleed loads up with a big shot that hurts Dont! He's pulled Sleed in close but Sleed has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Dont survive? More strikes from Sleed and Dont is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Jock Sleed!
After the fight, Jock Sleed was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
