Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Phil Buckley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brock Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Brock Lesnar enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Phil Buckley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Brock Lesnar!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Kenichi Hosakawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lesnar circles away from the clinch attempt.
Lesnar tries for a takedown but Buckley sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Buckley lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Lesnar has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Lesnar and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Buckley has a takedown stuffed.
Buckley is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Lesnar changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Buckley looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Buckley tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Buckley is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Lesnar has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Buckley wants to control but Lesnar postures up.
Lesnar advances nicely into full mount.
Lesnar sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Buckley sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.

Lesnar wants to control but Buckley is keeping him busy.
Lesnar is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Lesnar throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Lesnar in particular looking to stall.
Buckley moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Lesnar tries to stand but Buckley is controlling from the bottom.

Buckley isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Lesnar stacks Buckley on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Lesnar!

Lesnar in side control lands a decent elbow.
Buckley is looking for a sweep.
Buckley is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Lesnar wants to lay and pray for a moment but Buckley keeps working.

Buckley is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Lesnar is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Buckley will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
It looks like Lesnar might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Lesnar tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.

Buckley is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Lesnar wants to stand but Buckley is controlling his arm.
Buckley is trying to work for a sweep but Lesnar has mounted him!
Buckley is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Buckley in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Buckley tries to lock up and control but Lesnar gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Lesnar landing strikes, looking to finish!
Lesnar raining down shots from the mount!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brock Lesnar dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Lesnar darts in trying to clinch

so Buckley counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Buckley throws an elbow that misses. Lesnar uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Buckley's guard. Nice move by Lesnar!
Lesnar tries to free his leg and advance position but Buckley is retaining full guard.
Brock Lesnar has got the better of the ground game so far.
Lesnar is looking to stand up but Buckley won't let him.
Buckley not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Lesnar stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Buckley swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Buckley wants to sweep here but Lesnar controlling him for the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lesnar advances to half guard.
Lesnar missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Lesnar wants to free his trapped foot but Buckley is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Lesnar working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Buckley's thigh. Buckley counters though and makes it back to full guard.
Buckley has a closed guard, preventing Lesnar from standing up.

Lesnar trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Lesnar won't allow Buckley to sweep him here.
Buckley is looking to stand up but Lesnar isn't so interested in that idea.
Lesnar is looking to stand up but Buckley won't let him.
Lesnar wants to control from the top but Buckley keeps moving.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Brock Lesnar wasn't active enough on the ground.
Lesnar shoots for a double leg takedown but Buckley sprawls well. He's pushed Lesnar's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Lesnar shoots in looking for a takedown. Buckley tries to sprawl out of it but Lesnar keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Buckley manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Lesnar is breathing heavily.
Lesnar has a takedown stuffed.
Phil Buckley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brock Lesnar.
Lesnar pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Sloppy strikes from Buckley. Those never looked like landing.

Buckley closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Buckley lands in his opponent's guard.
Buckley tries to stand but Lesnar is controlling from the bottom.

Buckley trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Lesnar controls Buckley momentarily but Buckley frees himself.
Lesnar is looking to sweep but instead, Buckley has passed into half guard.
Lesnar is looking to control Buckley's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Lesnar avoid being mounted?
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Buckley thows a huge punch but Lesnar dodges it nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Phil Buckley will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Buckley would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Lesnar looking to hit a scissor sweep but Buckley is one step ahead there.

Buckley shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Lesnar is trying to defend but Buckley finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Lesnar is pressing down on Buckley's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Buckley looking to sit in guard and control but Lesnar gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Buckley on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Buckley tries to get out of the position.
Buckley is trying to control the position but Lesnar postures up.
Lesnar pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Buckley is keeping the position for now.
Buckley has a closed guard, preventing Lesnar from standing up.

Lesnar is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Lesnar trying to control the position from guard on top but Buckley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Buckley is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Lesnar defends well.

Lesnar is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Buckley looking for a sweep. Not yet Buckley, not yet.
Lesnar keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Buckley's head.
Lesnar is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Lesnar with a flurry of punches that miss.
Buckley is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Lesnar is standing up over Buckley. Buckley looks to escape but Lesnar dives into side control.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Buckley is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Lesnar landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

Lesnar wants to work for an arm triangle but Buckley is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Lesnar wants to control but Buckley is keeping him busy.

Lesnar is working for a kimura but Buckley is defending it quite comfortably.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Buckley is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Lesnar jumps into side control!

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Brock Lesnar.
I think Lesnar has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
