Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Graham Frost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Merle Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Merle Walker!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice inside leg kick there by Frost. That's going to slow Walker down.
Frost scores with a shot to the body.

Frost moves into the clinch.
Walker tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Frost changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Walker fights it off and pushes away nicely.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Walker.
Frost lands with a kick to the ribs.
Frost closes the distance and clinches up with Walker, looking for a takedown. Frost pushes Walker against the cage but Walker circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Merle Walker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Walker drives through with a takedown into Frost's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Walker drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Walker jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Frost will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Walker drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Frost dives on top into guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Walker is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Frost has his hands clasped together but Walker extends and breaks Frost's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Walker.
