Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Wells Dengel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bernhard Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dengel's entrance music is Flames by Lil Dicky!. A fine choice. Bernhard Taylor has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Wells Dengel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bernhard Taylor!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Tatsuya Matsuyama.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dengel circles away from the clinch attempt.
Taylor has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Dengel tries to keep at a distance but Taylor has taken the fight into the clinch.
Dengel tries to land knees in the clinch but Taylor avoids the damage to the body.
Taylor missing with knees to the body.
Dengel lands with a right to the head.
Taylor's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Dengel throws an elbow but it's blocked.

Dengel breaks from the clinch.
A slow jab from Dengel misses its intended target.
Taylor throws a head kick that misses.
Taylor tries to clinch but Dengel is having none of it.
Dengel connects with the punch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Taylor lands a nice looking body kick.
Taylor feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Dengels jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Dengel looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Dengel on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Taylor closes the distance and scores with a big combo that sends Dengel crashing to the mat! Dengel uses the ropes to get back to his feet and beat the count. The referee looks concerned but he's going to allow it to continue!

Dengel is rocked!
Taylor tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Oh Dengel is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Taylor darts in and clinches Dengel up against the ropes.
Dengel wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Taylor working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Dengel lands a right hand.
Taylor cracks Dengel with a big elbow, right in the eye socket! Dengel drops to his knees in obvious pain! The referee starts the count but it's plainly obvious that Dengel isn't going to get back to his feet. The referee counts none the less and Taylor struts around the mat, safe in the knowledge that this one is over. A big win for Taylor!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Elbows). Bernhard Taylor!
In his post fight interview, Bernhard Taylor gave a big smile as he said 'Greg Bice, you weren't good enough to fight with The Thunder Squad, your run was sweet, but Thunder taught me how to beat you!'.
The defeated Wells Dengel had this to say: 'Nothing like learning a lesson from a master but seriously losing sucks ...'.
