The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gruber is looking to clinch but Silva is avoiding it.
Gruber tries to clinch but Silva moves out of range.

Gruber pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Gruber throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Gruber cracks Silva with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gruber throws a chopping leg kick but Silva manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Gruber paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Gruber swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Silva.
Silva tries to move into range but Gruber moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Gruber just misses with a punch to the body.
Silva ducks under a wild hook from Gruber.
Gruber takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Silva slips a jab and a cross from Gruber.
Silva takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Gruber turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Gruber looks to land a left hand but Silva moved out of range nicely.

Gruber wants the takedown. Silva is fighting it off but Gruber persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Silva's guard against the cage.

Gruber drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Gruber as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Silva screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Gruber! Nice submission victory there!
