The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Garrison closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Mann did well to prevent Garrison getting side control.

Garrison is fighting to break Mann's control of his arms but Mann is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Mann is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Garrison throws an elbow that misses. Mann uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Garrison's guard. Nice move by Mann!

Oh, that's a big right hand from Garrison and Mann goes tumbling to the canvas! Garrison follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.

It looks like Uber Mann has been cut.
Garrison has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Garrison scores with a big shot! Mann's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Mann! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
