Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Durant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Mayweather (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mayweather has chosen Given Up - Linkin Park as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mayweather slips a straight right by Durant.
Horrible takedown by Durant or perhaps it was just good defense by Mayweather which made him look bad.
Durant shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Mayweather as he jumps to the side.

Durant turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Durant has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Mayweather tries to land a front kick but Durant steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Durant throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mayweather's waist but Mayweather gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Durant off to one side.

Durant swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Mayweather leaves Durant with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Ray Mayweather is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Mayweather has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Durant is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
Durant drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Mayweather gets the underhooks and prevents it.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Durant shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mayweather sprawls well. Mayweather wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Durant gets slowly back to his feet.

That was a close round but I would say that Kevin Durant will probably get the nod.

Durant is looking for a kimura but Mayweather is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Durant to get the leverage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Durant not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Mayweather has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Durant is on him like a limpet, forcing Mayweather back against the cage.
Durant jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Mayweather walks away with a smile on his face. Durant gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Mayweather looks for the body kick but Durant saw that one coming.
Durant misses with the combination.
Durant throws a hook but Mayweather avoids it easily.
