Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Conan Drogo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vinnie Vincent!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Chris Edwards and James Atkins.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drogo misses with a head kick.
Vincent avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Drogo throws a nice looking combination but Vincent bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
An inside leg kick lands from Drogo.
Drogo lands with a good body shot.
Drogo getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Drogo throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Conan Drogo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Vincent makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Drogo looks to throw the jab but Vincent is out of range.
Drogo dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Vincent. That did some damage!

Drogo throws a lazy right hand but Vincent sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Drogo, as that shot connected.

Drogo is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

and Vincent counters with a nice low kick that buckles Drogo's knee momentarily.

Drogo takes a swing at Vincent's ribcage but misses.
Vincent avoids the head kick by Drogo.
Vincent will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Drogo throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Vincent sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Vincent tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Drogo defends well and Vincent ends up having to push Drogo into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

and Drogo holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Vincent has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Drogo is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Drogo creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Drogo tries to work over Vincent's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Vincent has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Drogo seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Vincent can turn it around.

Drogo throws a front kick that sends Vincent stumbling back into the cage.

Drogo has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

That was a close second round but I would say that Conan Drogo will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Vincent throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Vincent chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Drogo can pounce on him.

and Vincent counters with a shoot takedown. Drogo fights it but they end up in guard.

Drogo will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Drogo holds on and takes a little breather.
Drogo wants to get back to his feet but Vincent is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Vincent postures up in Drogo's guard and throws a big left but Drogo blocks it.
Drogo has control of Vincent's left arm, preventing Vincent from doing any damage.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Conan Drogo.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Vincent accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Drogo pulls Vincent in close to prevent any damage.
Drogo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Drogo swings for the body but Vincent moves out of range.
Vincent takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Vinnie Vincent is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Vincent uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Drogo.

Vincent moves out of range of the body kick from Drogo.
Drogo throws a leg kick but Vincent checks it.
Vincent keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Drogo.

and Vincent counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Drogo's guard now.
Vincent has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Vincent drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Drogo dives on top into guard.

Vincent is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Drogo is aware though and is defending well.
Drogo is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

I would just about give that final round to Vinnie Vincent.

A relieved looking Conan Drogo thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
