Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tyron Hubbard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Poseidon Vasilios (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hubbard shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Vasilios manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Vasilios thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hubbard has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Vasilios is proving hard to escape from.
Vasilios is looking for a triangle here but Hubbard uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Vasilios got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hubbard has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Vasilios has managed to get both his arms back between Hubbard's legs - danger averted.

Hubbard is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Vasilios has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Hubbard has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Vasilios taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Hubbard doesn't care though - he's delighted!
