Edwards comes to the cage accompanied by Like a surgeon. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dicktion throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Edwards tries to land a front kick but Dicktion steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Edwards throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Edwards tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Dicktion is able to avoid easily.

Edwards keeps the fight on the outside.
Edwards connects with a leg kick. Dicktion looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Dicktion gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Edwards.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and Edwards counters with a nice leg kick.
Dicktion moves in looking to clinch but Edwards pushes him off.
Edwards lands a nice shot that snaps Dicktion's head back.
Edwards is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Edwards fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Dicktion.

Juris Dicktion is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Dicktion connects with a good right hand that stumbles Edwards. Edwards circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Dicktion doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Edwards fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Dicktion sprawls well initially but Edwards persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Dicktion is staying active underneath Edwards, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Edwards has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Edwards looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
