Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Trent Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenji Kato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kenji Kato has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Trent Allen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kenji Kato!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Allen tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Kato defends well and Allen ends up having to push Kato into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Kato looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Allen misses with a short punch on the inside.

Allen gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Kato regains guard.
Kato pulls Allen in close to his closed guard and prevents Allen from doing any damage or advancing position.
