The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Kiram . Nocon does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kiram connects with a body shot.

Nocon bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Nocon is looking to take a break and control but Kiram is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Nocon stands up and beckons Kiram to his feet.

Kiram gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Nocon to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Nocon is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Kiram is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Nocon wants to get up but he can't break Kiram 's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Nocon drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Kiram dives on top into guard.

Kiram got a little sloppy there for a moment and Nocon has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kiram has managed to get both his arms back between Nocon's legs - danger averted.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
