The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Punisher misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Punisher swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Punisher takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Marsh really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Punisher clinches up against the cage.

Punisher breaks from the clinch.
Punisher misses with an uppercut.
Marsh is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Punisher slaps away a takedown attempt from Marsh, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Marsh avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Punisher misses with a series of wild punches.
Marsh shoots in but no luck this time.

Punisher looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Punisher throws a right and a left that Marsh avoids nicely.

Marsh dives in for a single leg takedown but Punisher sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Marsh takes the fight into the clinch.
Marsh has Punisher pressed against the cage, preventing Punisher from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Punisher tries to break free but Marsh pushes him back against the cage.

Punisher breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Marsh closes the distance but Punisher moves to the side
letting Punisher counter with a right hand.

It looks like Buddy Marsh has been cut.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Marsh.
Marsh cracks Punisher with an open hand slap.
Marsh tests Punisher's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Punisher shoots for a double leg takedown but Marsh sprawls well. He's pushed Punisher's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Marsh tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Punisher counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Punisher.
Marsh dodges an elbow strike from Punisher.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Marsh is trying to pull guard but Punisher turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Punisher manages to break the clinch.
Marsh throws a sloppy head kick and Punisher moves out of range easily.
Marsh shoots in looking for a takedown but Punisher manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Marsh's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
We've been informed that Punisher has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Marsh fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Marsh is breathing heavily.
Marsh avoids a kick to the body.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
The referee is keeping an eye on Marsh - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Marsh tries to pull guard but Punisher holds him up against the cage and eventually Marsh drops back down to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Punisher tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Marsh tries to clinch but Punisher moves out of range.
Marsh fails in his attempt to clinch.
The Punisher seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Punisher connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Marsh tumbling to the canvas! Punisher pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Marsh was done - good stoppage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). The Punisher!
An out of breath The Punisher thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
