The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ventura looks to clinch
and Fields counters with a three punch combo that has Ventura backing up. Ventura nods at Fields to acknowledge the strikes.
Fields tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ventura swivels and escapes.
Fields moves into the clinch.
Ventura lands a hook that snaps the head of Fields backwards.
Fields is trying to force a seperation but Ventura has the dominant position.
Ventura lands an elbow inside.
It looks like Marion Fields has been cut.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Ventura just misses with a elbow thrown towards Fields's brow.

Fields really is a fat lump.
Fields pressing his opponent against the cage.
Fields fails to pull the fight into his guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ventura scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Ventura creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Fields with a big uppercut! Fields tries to clinch up but Ventura pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Fields to the mat! Fields covers up and Ventura unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Jesse Ventura!
