Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jim Pounder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexandre Riberio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pounder comes to the ring accompanied by People in Planes-Last Man Standing. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Alexandre Riberio!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Glass and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pounder closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Riberio to the mat! Riberio manages to get full guard.
Pounder tries to free his leg and advance position but Riberio is retaining full guard.
Riberio looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Pounder trying to control the position from guard on top but Riberio is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Pounder is really struggling to control Riberio but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Riberio working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Pounder doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Pounder manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
