The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clifton shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Luca defends it nicely.
Clifton shoots in and drives through. Luca sprawls well.
Luca fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Clifton has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Craig Clifton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Clifton decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Luca is controlling Clifton's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Clifton wants to free his trapped foot but Luca is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Luca is trying to control but can't.
Clifton drops an elbow to the side of Luca's head.
Clifton prevents Luca from improving his position.
Clifton trying to mount his opponent but Luca defends it.
Luca is trying to control but can't.
Clifton lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Clifton is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Luca defends it well.

Luca tries to kick Clifton off but Clifton keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Clifton maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Luca could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Clifton has cracked it and Luca is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Clifton!
