PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Banks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Fynn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Banks might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Night by Kromestatik. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bob Fynn!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Bruno Hogan and Steve Erwin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fynn stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Fynn wants it to stay on the feet.
Fynn slips a straight right by Banks.
Fynn avoids a kick to the body.
Banks fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Fynn has Banks up against the cage in a clinch.
Banks working aggressively here.
Fynn lands a right hand that snaps the head of Banks backwards.
Still in the clinch, Fynn scores with a nice short uppercut.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Fynn keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Banks's efforts to push away.

Fynn breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Banks shoots for a double leg takedown but Fynn sprawls well. He's pushed Banks's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brandon Banks. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Fynn feints and then cracks Banks's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Banks down.
Banks has been working on his balance at Hate Made Me Asylum, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Fynn.
Fynn lands a nice shot to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fynn is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Banks like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Banks from another fist facial!
