The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Greco fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mies, pushing him back against the cage.
Mies is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Greco stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Greco's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Projekti Mies seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Greco sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Mies lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Greco has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Greco and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
