The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drew darts in looking for a takedown but Poturak gets double underhooks and turns Drew into the cage.
Poturak looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Drew wants to take the fight to the mat but Poturak manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Poturak should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Poturak has eaten all the pies!
Poturak has had enough of the clinch but Drew keeps him there for the moment.

Drew is trying to drag Poturak to the mat but Poturak just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Poturak is pressed up against the cage. Drew has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Poturak down to the mat. Poturak avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Drew feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Poturak is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
