Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tony Grecko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kaivo Huone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Huone has chosen RMB - Spring as his entrance music. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Ian Loll and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Huone lands with an overhand left.
Grecko misses with a body shot.
Grecko slips under a jab.
That kick from Grecko tenderised Huone's leg. Huone is trying to keep his angry face on.
Grecko bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Huone checks a leg kick.
Grecko with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
No luck for Grecko with that takedown attempt.
Huone ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Grecko moves away.
Huone keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Grecko smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Grecko tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Huone was well out of range. Poor timing from Grecko.

and Grecko counters with a nice double leg into side control. Huone won't be happy with that.

Huone is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Grecko asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Huone is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Huone's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Huone can do anything to dispel that myth.

Grecko shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Huone's guard.

Huone must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Grecko, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
