Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Christopher Sexton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tomas Popov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Popov's choice of entrance music: Russian National Anthem. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Popov shoots in and gets a takedown into Sexton's guard.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Popov is looking to pass into half guard but Sexton pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Sexton is in guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Christopher Sexton.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Christopher Sexton.
I think Popov has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
