Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kurtis Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ambrosio Cagao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cagao has chosen http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aOW8tq4iVvY&list=PL6B4EA786B84D72CB as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kurtis Turner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ambrosio Cagao!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Micheangelo Fripello and Paul Gruel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turner changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cagao tries to avoid it but Turner manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cagao to the ground. Cagao escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Turner fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Cagao tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Cagao looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Cagao performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Cagao throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Well, if Cagao is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Cagao escapes and gets back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Turner throws a sloppy head kick

and Cagao counters with a crisp one two that drops Turner! Cagao thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Turner to his feet! Turner is in big trouble!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Cagao shoots in and gets a takedown into Turner's guard.

Turner is rocked!

Cagao gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
No luck for Turner with that takedown attempt.
Turner with a poor takedown
and Cagao counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kurtis Turner. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Turner is breathing heavily.

Cagao has Turner up against the cage in a clinch.
Cagao will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Turner up against the cage.

Cagao ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Cagao no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Cagao is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Turner presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Cagao can't get the takedown.

Cagao gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Turner regains guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cagao is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cagao gets to his feet. Turner looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Some wild striking there from Cagao.
Cagao darts in looking for a takedown but Turner gets double underhooks and turns Cagao into the cage.
Turner is trying to break the clinch but Cagao is controlling him.

Cagao breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Turner doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Cagao counters with a left and a right... And another left! Turner is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ambrosio Cagao!
During a confident post fight interview, Ambrosio Cagao thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
