The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Igor Prikhodko and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A momentary lapse in concentration from Fury enables Carose to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Fury manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Carose drops back looking for a leg! Fury is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Fury manages to kick Carose off! Carose jumps back into Fury's guard.
Fury wants to stand but Carose is controlling the position.
Carose is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Carose wants to control from the top but Fury keeps moving.
Fury has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Carose has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

Carose is working for takedown but Fury is calmly controlling the position for now.

Kronos Fury seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Carose shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Fury defends it nicely.

Fury throws a sloppy head kick and Carose moves out of range easily.
Fury fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Carose is out of range.

Carose content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
It looks like Carose might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Fury is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Carose has just dragged him back down to the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fury parries the strikes from Carose easily there. Carose is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Fury to escape.

Carose is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Fury's shoulder. That is not cool.

Carose is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Fury to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Fury shrugs it off.

Carose's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Fury connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Carose scrambles back to his feet.
It looks like Kinny Carose has been cut.
Carose closes the distance and clinches up with Fury, looking for a takedown. Carose pushes Fury against the cage but Fury circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Kinny Carose really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Blood Bank ($10) logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
