I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Joe The Plumber was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Joe The Plumber!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Saam Ante and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from The Plumber.
The Plumber thows a body shot but no joy.
Belliveau lands a straight punch to the body, keeping The Plumber at a distance.
A leg kick checked by Belliveau.
Belliveau scores with a shot to the body.
Belliveau scores with a hook.
Belliveau lands a jab.
The Plumber on the wrong end of a nice jab.


It looks like Joe The Plumber has been cut.
A left lands for Belliveau.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The Plumber's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Belliveau connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! The Plumber scrambles back to his feet.
The Plumber throws a chopping leg kick but Belliveau manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
The Plumber misses with a left hand
and Belliveau counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts The Plumber off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Belliveau follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but The Plumber was out before he hit the floor.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Steve Belliveau!
Steve Belliveau was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
