Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Johanna Lukiainen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Winner walks forward, straight into a front kick from John.
John clinches up against the cage.
John effectively controlling the action here.
John is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
John putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Winner in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Winner is trying to drag John to the mat but John just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Winner gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.

We've been informed that Winner has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

John has Winner pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Winner is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from John - that's hurt Winner badly! Oh, another knee lands and Winner is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Winner doesn't seem to be complaining.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Ola John!
Voittaja Winner was interviewed post fight and said 'no'.
