Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Justin Riddle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Galdra Kiddi!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paulsen Ambrosius and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kiddi lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Riddle circles away quickly and effectively.
Riddle explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Riddle lands a nice hook to Kiddi's body. Kiddi takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Kiddi throws a leg kick that is checked
and Riddle counters with a nice uppercut.


It looks like Galdra Kiddi has been cut.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Kiddi has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Riddle wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Riddle closes the distance looking to clinch

and Kiddi counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kiddi throws a big elbow that misses.
Riddle keeping moving, preventing Kiddi from controlling successfully.

Kiddi throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Riddle works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Kiddi is looking to advance position but Riddle has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Kiddi tries to hold on but Riddle postures up.
Kiddi tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Kiddi wants to hold on but Riddle pushes him away.
Riddle controlling the position easily from mount.
Kiddi is desperately trying to improve his position but Riddle has a good base and remains in mount.

Riddle wants to control the pace but Kiddi is squirming around nicely.
Kiddi sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Kiddi has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Riddle is working away from the top position though.
Kiddi tries to roll over but Riddle keeps him under control.

Riddle tries to pass to full mount but Kiddi defends it.
Riddle content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Justin Riddle has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Kiddi lands a nice looking body shot.
Kiddi tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Kiddi connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Kiddi finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Riddle cracks Kiddi with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Kiddi stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Riddle.

Riddle closes the distance and pushes Kiddi back into the cage.

The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Kiddi lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Riddle or not.
A head punch on the inside from Kiddi fails to land.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Riddle swings away with an uppercut that misses.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Kiddi scores with a shot to the side of Riddle's head.

Riddle tries to stall but Kiddi uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Kiddi throws a chopping leg kick but Riddle manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Kiddi swings for the body but Riddle moves out of range.
Riddle throws a hook to the side of Kiddi's head but Kiddi sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Riddle tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

and Riddle makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Riddle keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Riddle takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Kiddi swings for the body but Riddle moves out of range.
Decent striking displayed by Kiddi there.
Kiddi motions for Riddle to come forward. Kiddi throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Kiddi scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Riddle tries to clinch up but Kiddi circles away and keeps his distance.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Kiddi lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Riddle has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Riddle and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

A looping hook to the body misses from Kiddi. Riddle does a little dance to reset his feet.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kiddi is defended easily by Riddle.
An inside leg kick lands from Riddle.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Riddle attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Kiddi throws a predictable looking body shot
and Riddle counters with a nice leg kick.
Kiddi is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Riddle rather than just go for the knockout.

Kiddi throws a looping overhand right but Riddle ducks down to avoid it.

Riddle dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Kiddi. That did some damage!

Kiddi misses with a takedown attempt - Riddle sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Riddle dodges the punch combination from Kiddi.
Riddle fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kiddi looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Riddle scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
A decent looking cross lands there for Riddle.
Kiddi throws a hook but Riddle avoids it easily.
Riddle with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Riddle uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kiddi.

Kiddi on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

and Riddle counters with a slapping leg kick.

Riddle lands a brutal head kick. Kiddi looks out on his feet and Riddle throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!

In his post fight interview, Justin Riddle started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
