Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Santa Claus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Harrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Santa Claus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, James Harrison!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Ackerman and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Harrison feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Claus looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Harrison really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Claus. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Harrison got a little sloppy there for a moment and Claus has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Harrison has managed to get both his arms back between Claus's legs - danger averted.

Claus is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Harrison is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Harrison has escaped and now he's on top!

Harrison is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Claus still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Claus has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

James Harrison showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Claus is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Harrison is trying to escape and Claus transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Harrison is forced to tap! Nice work there by Claus! Very nice indeed!
