The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Please darts in looking for a takedown but Cortes gets double underhooks and turns Please into the cage.
Please avoiding damage as Cortes throws knees to the body.
Cortes trying to stall but Please improves his position.
Please's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Cortes gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
