And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Otis Jenkins!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Cecil Peabody and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenkins scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Jenkins misses with a hook.
Cousteau shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jenkins pinned against the cage. Jenkins gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Jenkins throws a leg kick that is checked

and Cousteau counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Cousteau seems to be looking for submissions.

Cousteau is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jenkins is just riding it out for now. Cousteau eventually gives up the hold.

Cousteau is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Cousteau is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cousteau is thwarting Jenkins's attempts to control the position.

Jenkins is looking to improve his position.
Jenkins blocking the ground and pound attempt from Cousteau.

Cousteau is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Jenkins sees it coming and defends easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jenkins is trying to get back to full guard.

Cousteau is looking for a kimura but Jenkins is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Cousteau to get the leverage.

Jenkins keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Jenkins has left one of his arms exposed and Cousteau doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Jenkins screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
