Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Travis Lirette (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Patryk Szczerbiec (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Lirette might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Move On. Patryk Szczerbiec will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Lirette walks into a stiff left hand from Szczerbiec.

We've been hearing reports that Lirette has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Good exchange - Szczerbiec coming out on top.
Szczerbiec throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Szczerbiec tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Lirette fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Szczerbiec throws a chopping leg kick but Lirette manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Lirette has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Szczerbiec.

Szczerbiec fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Good leg kick by Szczerbiec there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Szczerbiec is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

Szczerbiec scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Lirette doesn't seem bothered though.
Szczerbiec paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Szczerbiec fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Lirette avoids a punch combination nicely.
Lirette has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Szczerbiec finds it's way round the side to connect with Lirette's head.
Szczerbiec throws a series of punches but Lirette avoids them all with ease.
Szczerbiec keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Lirette jumps guard and drags Szczerbiec to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Szczerbiec is posturing up here but Lirette has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Szczerbiec tries to roll out but it's too tight and Szczerbiec has to tap! Slick submission there by Lirette!
