Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Daren Welch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Brokeyes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Daren Welch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Johnny Brokeyes!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Marco Blurström and Matti Vanhoillinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brokeyes closes the distance but Welch moves to the side

and Welch counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Welch.
Welch is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Brokeyes is looking to sweep but instead, Welch has passed into half guard.
Brokeyes tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Welch has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Welch raining down hammerfists from mount.
Welch lands a heavy elbow.
Brokeyes tries to lock up and control but Welch gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Welch lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Welch takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Daren Welch.
Welch shoots in looking for a takedown but Brokeyes manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Welch's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Brokeyes lands a big head kick that sends Welch to the canvas! Brokeyes follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
