The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durham closes this distance looking for a takedown but Alpha circles away.
Alpha checks a low kick from Durham.
Alpha throws a body punch but Durham moves out of range.
Alpha throws a jab but it's blocked by Durham.

Alpha darts in and clinches Durham up against the cage.
A short right from Alpha on the inside.
Alpha lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Durham.

Durham avoids a punch combination nicely.
Alpha takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

It looks like Mike Durham has been cut.
Alpha throws a series of punches but Durham avoids them all with ease.
A right-left combo lands from Durham.
Durham connects with a looping right hand.
Durham lands a leg kick that knocks Alpha off balance momentarily.
A shot to the liver by Alpha. Beautiful body shot.

Durham throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Alpha.
Durham moves out of range as Alpha strikes.
Durham lands with a right hand.
Durham scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Durham shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Alpha as he jumps to the side.
Alpha takes a swing at Durham's ribcage but misses.
Mike Durham seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Alpha takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Alpha throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Durham connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Alpha throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Durham lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Alpha with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Durham to score with a decent uppercut.

No luck for Durham with that takedown attempt.
Alpha takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Alpha throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Durham sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Alpha takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Durham drops his hands momentarily and Alpha takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Alpha definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Durham.

Durham takes one on the chin but seems OK.
A slow jab from Alpha misses its intended target.
Durham shoots in but Alpha avoids the takedown attempt easily.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Alpha sends Durham crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Alpha is motioning to the referee to let Durham up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Durham is rocked!
Durham is trying desperately to land a takedown but Alpha is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Durham.
Durham throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Durham lands a glancing blow to the side of Alpha's head.
No joy there for Alpha, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Durham takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Durham dives in for a single leg takedown but Alpha sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Alpha lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Durham tries to pull guard but Alpha forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Alpha lands a big right hand! Durham is out cold! This one is all over!
