The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Hong moves in looking to clinch but Jones pushes him off.
Jones misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jones cracks Hong with a right hand to the side of the head.
Hong connects with a single shot there.
Hong slips under a jab from Jones.
Jones tests Hong's chin there with a solid looking shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hong misses with a looping right.
Jones throws a nice inside leg kick.
Jones moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Hong tries to clinch up.
Hong ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Hong has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Jones finds it's way round the side to connect with Hong's head.

It looks like Antonio Hong has been cut.

Hong moves into range and clinches up with Jones.
Jones tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

James Jones has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Jones tries to keep at a distance but Hong has taken the fight into the clinch.
Hong is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Jones to keep the fight standing.
Jones tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Hong has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Hong ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jones moves away.

Jones takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Hong jabs Jones right on the nose. Jones blinks but takes it well.
Hong throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Jones counters with a lovely straight right hand!

and Jones counters with a big right hand! Oh Hong is in trouble here! Jones follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!

After the fight, James Jones was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
