Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Christian Jacobs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pejro Karesky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 15 - 0, fighting out of New York, Christian Jacobs!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Pejro Karesky!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, John Roberts and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacobs feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Kareskys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Karesky tries to clinch but Jacobs is having none of it.
Karesky is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

and Jacobs counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Jacobs stands up over Karesky, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Karesky seems keen to control Jacobs's posture.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jacobs accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Karesky looks to land a combination but Jacobs avoids it well.

Jacobs throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Jacobs pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Karesky back to the cage. Jacobs follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Jacobs has hold of Karesky's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Karesky seems comfortable defending it but Jacobs has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Karesky is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Karesky is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Jacobs couldn't care less - he's delighted!
