The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bishop shoots in for a takedown but Smoochie Wallace shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Smoochie Wallace uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Bishop.
Smoochie Wallace throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Smoochie Wallace throws a sloppy head kick and Bishop moves out of range easily.
Bishop shoots in for a takedown but Smoochie Wallace shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Smoochie Wallace closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bishop circles away.

Smoochie Wallace gets caught flat footed, as Bishop shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Smoochie Wallace is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Andre Bishop wasn't active enough on the ground.

Bishop darts in looking for a takedown but Smoochie Wallace gets double underhooks and turns Bishop into the cage.
Tyroil Smoochie Wallace has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andre Bishop.

Bishop breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Smoochie Wallace lands a big head kick that sends Bishop tumbling to the mat! Smoochie Wallace takes a step backwards and waves Bishop back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Smoochie Wallace! Bishop is out on his feet! Smoochie Wallace rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Bishop is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Bishop is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
