The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rocha uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Carroll.
Carroll throws a poor cross that misses
and Rocha counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Carroll swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Rocha blocks a leg kick.
Rocha shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Carroll eats them both and turns towards Rocha to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

and Rocha counters with a series of strikes. Carroll will be more careful next time no doubt.

Carroll throws a leg kick but Rocha moved away.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Carroll lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Rocha has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Rocha and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Rocha throws a nice looking combination but Carroll bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Andy Carroll seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rocha feints a jab promting Carroll to slip. Rocha then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Carroll slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Carroll will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Rocha cracks Carroll with an open hand slap.

Carroll throws a hook to the side of Rocha's head but Rocha sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Carroll throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Rocha throws a series of punches but Carroll moves out of range.

Carroll throws a lazy right hand but Rocha sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

and Rocha counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Carroll throws a hook but Rocha blocks it.
Carroll lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Rocha looks winded!

Carroll punishes Rocha's body with a nice straight punch.
Carroll throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
A jab from Carroll does it's job there.

Rocha is rocked!
Rocha glances at the clock... BAM! Carroll nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Rocha crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Rocha is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
