The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Golovdy rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Matthews moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Golovdy misses with the combination.

It looks like Clay Matthews has been cut.
A left and a right from Golovdy both land. Nice combination.
Nice defenses there by Matthews.
Matthews stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Gennakin Golovdy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Matthews lands a nice shot to the body.
Golovdy takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Golovdy definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Matthews throws an overhand right that drops Golovdy like a sack of potatoes! Matthews dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
