Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Mauricio Rocha and Seu Braga.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wiesiek looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Callahan is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Wiesiek has managed to free his arm - good work.
Callahan is taking a breather. Wiesiek says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Callahan is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Callahan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Wiesiek is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Callahan pulls his head out easily.
Callahan takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Callahan will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Callahan's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



Callahan has managed to clinch.

Callahan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Callahan throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Wiesiek tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Callahan is in Wiesiek's guard.

Wiesiek had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Callahan defends it easily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Callahan is pushing down on Wiesiek's leg trying to pass to half guard. Wiesiek is fighting to maintain full guard but Callahan has managed to sneak the leg through.

Callahan wants to work for an arm triangle but Wiesiek is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Callahan wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Wiesiek, who protects the arm well.
Keneth Callahan overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Wiesiek looking for a sweep but Callahan has passed into full mount! Oh no!

Callahan is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Wiesiek can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Callahan is keen to just control but Wiesiek is a slippery customer.

Wiesiek is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Callahan's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Callahan's back!

Wiesiek is persistently looking for the submission but Callahan is defending it well.
Callahan looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Callahan wants to get back to his feet.

Wiesiek has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Wiesiek has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Callahan has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Callahan has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.
Wiesiek is not going to allow Callahan to sit and survive in this position.
Callahan has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Wiesiek.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wiesiek has his arm under Callahan's chin here. Game over son! Wiesiek squeezes tightly and Callahan is forced to tap out!
