Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Yamel Joduf!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joduf shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Sampson counters by clinching up.
Sampson tries to circle away but Joduf has him pinned against the cage.
Sampson throws an elbow that misses.
Sampson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Joduf is looking for a takedown.
Sampson avoiding damage.
Sampson prevents a takedown attempt there.
Len Sampson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yamel Joduf.
Sampson manages to break the clinch.
Joduf dives in and scores a takedown into Sampson's guard.
Joduf postures up and lands a big shot to Sampson's brow.
Joduf won't allow Sampson to get back to his feet.
Sampson keeping moving, preventing Joduf from controlling successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sampson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Joduf is one step ahead there.
Joduf wants to pass the guard but Sampson is keeping the position.
Joduf keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Sampson's head.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Sampson is on top in guard.
Joduf is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Sampson not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Joduf is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sampson wants to control but Joduf is keeping busy.
Sampson is in trouble now - Joduf has advanced to mount!
Joduf with the ground and pound from mount.
Sampson is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sampson wants to control but Joduf is having none of it.
Oh Sampson is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Joduf postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Sampson badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Joduf around the waist but Joduf pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Joduf is the winner by TKO! Joduf jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Yamel Joduf!
