Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dave Bates (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Black Dynamite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Black Dynamite has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dave Bates!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Black Dynamite!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bates throws a head kick but Dynamite moves out of range.
Bates shoots in looking for a takedown but Dynamite manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bates's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Dynamite tests Bates's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Bates tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Bates closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Dynamite quickly recovers to half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Dynamite is looking for a sweep. Bates is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Dynamite looking for submissions off his back.

Dynamite is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Dynamite keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.

Bates decides to return to a standing position.
Bates shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Dynamite as he avoids it easily.

Bates instigates a clinch.
Dynamite is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Bates to keep the fight standing.
Dynamite lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Dynamite breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bates ducks right into an uppercut from Dynamite.
Dynamite listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Bates shoots for a double leg takedown but Dynamite sprawls well. He's pushed Bates's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dave Bates. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Bates walks into a straight right hand from Dynamite.
Dynamite avoids the head kick by Bates.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dynamite doesn't manage to clinch there - Bates circles away.
Bates throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Dynamite is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Dynamite lands a nice looking body shot.

Dynamite throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Dynamite keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Dynamite manages to break the clinch.
Dynamite throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Dynamite lands a body shot.
Dynamite looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Dynamite throws a leg kick but Bates checks it.
Bates misses with a hook. Dynamite ducked under it nicely.
Dynamite digs a good body shot into Bates's ribs.

Bates has taken the fight to the clinch.
Bates tries to pull guard but Dynamite forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Dynamite escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Dynamite misses with a two punch combination.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Dynamite scores with a shoulder strike.
Bates fails to pull guard.

Dynamite escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Dynamite stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Bates ducks under a wild hook from Dynamite.
Dynamite will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Bates throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Black Dynamite dominated that round.
That's time! Bates's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Dynamite forces Bates back against the cage and clinches.
Bates is trying to break free.
Bates with an attempt at a knee that misses.

Dynamite breaks from the clinch.
Dynamite takes a swing at Bates's ribcage but misses.
Dynamite throws a right hand that Bates ducks under and follows up with a left that Bates also avoids with ease.
Dynamite scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Bates misses with a head kick.
Bates tries for a takedown but Dynamite sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Bates shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Dynamite sprawls well. Dynamite wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bates gets slowly back to his feet.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Dynamite escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bates takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Bates throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Bates gets a clinch.
Dynamite lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Bates backwards.
The referee calls for Dynamite to work.

Bates ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Bates no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Dynamite is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Bates is rocked!
Dynamite working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Bates's head.
Oh Bates is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dynamite is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bates has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dynamite can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Dynamite is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Bates is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Bates has escaped and now he's on top!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dynamite manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bates manages to get himself to full guard.
Dynamite arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Bates's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
