Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mic Hael (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Declan McCready (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hael's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, WISE MAN AND HIS WORDS by Wiley. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCready throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Hael doesn't succeed with the takedown
and McCready counters with a nice body kick.
McCready takes the fight into the clinch.
McCready struggles to land a body shot inside as Hael controls his hands.
McCready swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Hael drops down looking for an ankle pick but McCready pulls his leg out and moves away.
McCready throws the kick towards the body but Hael avoids it.
Hael avoids the head kick by McCready.
Hael's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Hael duly obliges.
Hael keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
McCready lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
McCready misses with a double jab.
Hael shoots in looking for a takedown but McCready manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hael's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mic Hael. That's going to take a lot out of him.

A jab lands there for Hael.
Hael checks a leg kick nicely.
Hael walks into a straight right hand from McCready.
McCready slips a straight right by Hael.
Hael lands a glancing blow to the side of McCready's head.
Declan McCready is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Hael throws a predictable looking body shot
and McCready finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
A left lands for McCready.
We've been informed that McCready has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Hael! McCready is out on his feet! Hael rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - McCready is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! McCready is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mic Hael!
Mic Hael got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
