Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Alec Ball and Yves DeLean.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vell throws a nice looking combination but Meyers bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Vell throws a leg kick but Meyers sees it coming and moves out of range.
Meyers tries to score with a low kick but Vell moves his leg out of the way.
Vell throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Meyers misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Meyers lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Vell throws a leg kick which misses Meyers's front leg but catches the back leg as Meyers tries to avoid it.
Meyers uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Vell.
Vell definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Vell will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Meyers moves out of range of the leg kick from Vell.

Meyers is trying desperately to land a takedown but Vell is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Meyers.
Vell has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Meyers finds it's way round the side to connect with Vell's head.

Meyers can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Vell is looking to escape.
Vell is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Vell bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Meyers is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Meyers trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!

Meyers wants to sweep but no luck.

Meyers had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Vell defends it easily.

Meyers working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Vell doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Meyers is tightening it up a little... Vell has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Vell reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Vell taps out! Nice BJJ there by Meyers!
