The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Petkovic misses.
Petkovic keeps Williams at a distance using the push kick.
Petkovic doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Williams ducks right into an uppercut from Petkovic.

Petkovic looks to land a body kick but Williams moved away.
Williams throws a hook but Petkovic avoids it easily.

Williams is nestled in close to Petkovic, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Williams connects with a nice short shot to Petkovic's temple.

It looks like Roman Petkovic has been cut.
Williams winds up and cracks Petkovic with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Williams lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Petkovic quite badly. Petkovic pulls Williams in close trying to recover. Williams postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Petkovic on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Petkovic doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
