The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Anderson leaves Richard with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Anderson is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Richard knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Anderson is working to tighten his grip on Richard's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Richard has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Anderson is really squeezing tight and eventually Richard passes out! Anderson breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
