Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Paul Landen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randulfr Simms (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Paul Landen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Randulfr Simms!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Hirohito Nitta and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simms on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Landen throws a leg kick which misses Simms's front leg but catches the back leg as Simms tries to avoid it.
Simms chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Landen can pounce on him.
Landen feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Simms's calf.
Simms changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Landen tries to avoid it but Simms manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Landen to the ground. Landen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Landen closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Landen takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Landen tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Knees to the body from Landen.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Landen just misses with a elbow thrown towards Simms's brow.
Landen lands a right hand that snaps the head of Simms backwards.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Landen.
Landen creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Landen landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Simms looks winded!

That's one minute gone in the round.
With the fighters up against the cage, Landen throws an elbow but misses.
Simms is pressed against the cage. Landen pushes back and unleashes a big elbow that really hurts Simms! Two more big strikes from Landen and Simms crumples to the mat and taps out furiously due to the strikes!
