Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chris McAllister!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Cevada Bacon!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Ackerman and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McAllister stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and McAllister wants it to stay on the feet.
Bacon fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Bacon drives through with a takedown into McAllister's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
McAllister is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bacon throws a strike but McAllister rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
McAllister stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bacon swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Bacon has his foot on McAllister's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. McAllister works his way back into a safe position though.
McAllister passes into half guard.
Bacon on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

McAllister is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Bacon has managed to free his arm - good work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Bacon has hold of McAllister's hands but McAllister slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
McAllister is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
McAllister lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
McAllister working over Bacon with some ground and pound. Bacon looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Bacon really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McAllister. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

McAllister is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Well, if McAllister is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
McAllister is nestled in close to Bacon, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
McAllister lands strikes from half guard.
Bacon is looking to escape.
McAllister has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
McAllister looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
McAllister is pressing down on Bacon's thigh, looking to free his foot. Bacon is holding on for now.
McAllister stalling.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
McAllister working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bacon wants to control but McAllister is keeping busy.
McAllister controlling the action here.
Bacon wants to get back to his feet.
McAllister looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
McAllister slows the pace down in half guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
McAllister throws a shot from downtown. Bacon moves away and avoids it.
McAllister drops Bacon with a huge uppercut! Bacon drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. McAllister is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chris McAllister!
