Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Aapo Kalypsi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ziggy Cliff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Cliff's choice of entrance music: GANJA FARMER. Ziggy Cliff has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Chris Edwards and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kalypsi drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Kalypsi pushes down on Cliff's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Cliff wants to improve his position but Kalypsi is controlling well.
Cliff moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Kalypsi tries to free his leg and advance position but Cliff is retaining full guard.
Kalypsi in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Cliff wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Cliff is on top in guard.
Kalypsi throws his legs up looking for a submission but Cliff uses it to pass to side control.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

I was talking to Kalypsi's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kalypsi lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Cliff tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Kalypsi blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Kalypsi wants a takedown but no success here.
Kalypsi misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Cliff is working Kalypsi over against the cage.

Cliff lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Oh Kalypsi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Cliff lands a big right hand that drops Kalypsi! The killer instinct kicks in and Cliff finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Cliff!
