Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sam Snead (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robin Convents (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Snead kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Trinidad James - All Gold Everything. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

25 - 32 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Robin Convents!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Convents pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Convents tries to clinch
and Snead counters with a three punch combo that has Convents backing up. Convents nods at Snead to acknowledge the strikes.
Convents has taken the fight to the clinch.
Convents is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Snead breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A head kick by Convents misses
and Snead makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Convents on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Snead. Snead obviously looking to wear him down.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Snead throws a right hand that Convents ducks under and follows up with a left that Convents also avoids with ease.
Snead avoids the head kick by Convents.
Convents closes the distance looking to clinch
and Snead counters with a head kick.
Snead moves into the clinch.
Snead manages to break the clinch.
Convents wants to clinch
and Snead counters with a body kick that stops Convents in his tracks momentarily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Snead lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Convents tries to clinch but Snead moves out of range.
A head kick by Convents misses
and Snead makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Convents really felt that one!
Snead looks to land a combination. Convents sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Convents looks winded!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Convents has a takedown stuffed.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Snead!
Convents throws a sloppy head kick
and Snead counters with a nice low kick that buckles Convents's knee momentarily.
Snead has closed the distance and engaged Convents in a clinch.
Snead's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Sam Snead is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Snead rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Convents moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A right-left combo lands from Snead.
Snead throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Convents's head.
Robin Convents seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Snead buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Snead misses with a series of wild punches.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Convents throws a head kick but Snead moves out of range.
Jab by Snead.
Snead rushes Convents and presses him up against the cage.
Snead breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Snead circles away from the clinch attempt
and Snead counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Convents shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Snead as he jumps to the side.
Convents tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Snead counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Convents's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Snead connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Convents scrambles back to his feet.
Convents waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Snead.
Snead lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Snead lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Convents is rocked!
Snead is working the combinations to good effect here.
Convents tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Convents throws a right and a left that both miss.
Convents on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Snead lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Convents out cold! Convents is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Sam Snead!
After winning the bout, Sam Snead thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
