Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gunnar Jensen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aleksander Ivanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Jensen might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Devour . Ivanov has chosen Step Into A World (Rapture's Delight) as his entrance music. The key to victory for Gunnar Jensen has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jensen shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Ivanov manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Jensen avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Ivanov told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.

Jensen tries to free his leg and advance position but Ivanov is retaining full guard.

Ivanov is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Jensen defends well.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Jensen controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Ivanov looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Jensen is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Ivanov throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Jensen escapes and throws Ivanov's legs to the side, diving into side control!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
You can see the frustration on Ivanov's face as Jensen controls the position.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
