Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nils Holgersson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dustin Carmelo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carmelo has chosen These Boots as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Carmelo has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Carmelo turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Carmelo manages to end up in side control.

Carmelo jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Holgersson walks away with a smile on his face. Carmelo gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Holgersson looks to land a combination. Carmelo sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

That was a close second round but I would say that Nils Holgersson will probably get the nod.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Holgersson enables Carmelo to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Holgersson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
